Breaking Even on this Manic Monday

Once upon a time my wife Lea and I had insurance claims filed on each of our vehicles at the same time due to events / damages that occurred...wait for it...when we weren't even in our cars!

1) My car = wrecked by a valet driver
2) Lea's car 'hit and run' while parked on our street

Dag! Right?!

So we've been a one car family for a couple of weeks while one and then the other car has been repaired.

But the show must go on!

That's right. I'm still managing to fluff the booth at Paris on Ponce and the whole shop looks beautiful. It's super great to be a part of such a spectacular vintage family. It feels good when I walk in the doors, there's a vibrant and inspiring buzz in the air there and cool things are happening!

Oh and a BLOWOUT SALE!

Yes - there were mimosas at the shop all weekend and our mascot Baudelaire was holding down the bar - er fort!

The weekend was lovely. In addition to vintage loveliness, there was live music - at least twice and festivals and Streets Alive and...and...and...fun was had. To be sure! See:
